l do not have a sewing machine or iron. l was wondering if there was a way to hem dress pants without any appliance. l can kind of sew but l am not very good at it, and the only string l have is white and l need black, and l dont have any safety pins either. Will super glue work? l tried glue stick and that didnt help at all.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

if you really do not want to pick up a needle.. you could staple them, or duct tape the inside of the pants. super glue might work, but i think duct tape will work better, so if you do have black thread in the future you can do it then. good luck!!! I've been there before

The first answer is the way to go, by far.
If you're adamant that you're not going to sew you could use tape on the hem and ''press'' the faux-hem by leaving some books on top of the bottom of the pants after you've laid them out nicely.

But really, hemming is not hard, and does not take much time at all.

Hand sewing is the way to go. Duck out for a seam ripper (to remove the current hem), a packet of hand sewing needles -- I prefer embroidery needles because of the large eye, & a spool of matching thread.

You will need to press the hem after you've turned up the new hem & cut off the excess fabric. in a pinch, u can dampen the edge of the fold & then pull it taut over an incandescent lightbulb. move the fabric to ''iron''.
